In this blog we are conducting reality check and the benefits/shortcomings of it. Right now reliance jio comes with an offer which brings again a new price war against all the big market players. Even in the introductory speech of Mr. Mukesh Ambani, the share market of Airtel, Vodafone and Idea had tremendous downfall.
Now lets focusing on **its advantages**:
1.Free calling across in India(STD-Local free) for lifetime
2.Free 4G internet till 31-Dec-2016
3.Free National roaming across whole of the country
Good voice quality as working over VoLTE
Fast internet, you need not suffer with buffering problem as occur with 3G/2G networks
*Disadvantages:*
Only 4G enabled smartphones can support the SIM(few of the 3G mobile phones also support it by some tips and tricks available on youtube)
As it works over VoLTE, everything is in data packets means internet as well as your calls is in form of Data, so after 31-12-2016, you will have to pay for internet and calls. You can not even receive any incoming calls without opening internet.
Other mobile companies do not providing connectivity links to make a calls from Jio sim.
Right now no guideline for mobile no. portability
No internet or data pack plans are available.
