Redbus online ticketing service is worst

I had travelled to Chennai from Bangalore on 2nd week of May 08. I had reserved the ticket on Redbus for a 2+1 A/c Volvo Coach for 10pm. The moment I showed the ticket, there was indifferent attitutde from the bus operator and then he told that I cannot be accomodated at the 10pm bus and told me that I will have to go by a 11pm bus(which left at 12am) . He said the ticket charge is Rs 750(i had paid Rs550 for the 2+1 seater) and further said that as a special gesture will take only the earlier said charge. He said the bus at 11pm is much better and made me wait for almost 2 hours on the road. But meanwhile I saw him and his touts selling tickets for 300- 400 rupees. When the bus came it was a 2+2 seater and uncomfortable seats(and in ur disclaimer I saw that ur not responsible for the seat conditions!) finally when the bus started water started leaking from the a/c vents and I was forced to close the vents. I did not have proper sleep that night and my main objective of being present at the location alert was spoiled by your pathetic arrangement. It was a very bad experience and I will never take tickets via red bus as there is a big gap in the coordination between you and the bus operators. I would also make sure that I recommend to my friends and relatives who consistently travel between locations to avoid redbus.

If we think that by taking tickets from the comforts of our home or office and then have a peaceful trip then we will all be wrong. better go to the agent directly and book your tickets we have have to pay a little bit higher or roam a little bit. Atleast we can have a assured trip knowing that we will have a seat at a specified time no matter what. This is not my first experience with Redbus, I was not shy once I got bitten and got hit very badly the second time around.
