It is a good drama in which some action is added . Vishal Bhardwaj and his team had done wonders. It is a good work . As it really was too difficult for him to draw a scenario of 1944 world war .
PLOT: -
The movie starts with an on going war scene . The story is all about Julia ( Kangana ) who was a film actress , Russy Billimoria ( Saif Ali Khan ) who owns his studio and was a producer too and Captain/Jamadar Nawab Malik ( Shahid Kapoor ) who displays himself as a British Indian soldier but actually was a Captain in Indian National Army ( azad hind fauj) . He was fighting to free India . But somehow between this he came into Miss Julia and Divorcei Russy . Here starts a love triangle . Rangoon is an ambitious attempt to actually draw an amazing story line in the time of war .
CAST PERFORMANCE : -
Shahid Kapoor as Captain Nawab Malik He was the best part of the movie . He has done wonders . He was amazing at his part . He wad most lovengly and ready to die for tricolour .
Kangana as Miss Julia SHe was not so good but a die heart lover of Jamadar Nawab Malik
Saif Ali khan as Russy He was given a bad boy . he had played it very well . He was also a die heart lover of Miss Julia .
SOUND TRACK : -
The songs were already very hit . ye ishq hai was one of them .
CINEMATOGRAPHY : - It was an average movie . Directed very well by Vishal Bhardwaj and his team . It was a very well and brilliant idea of him . I think it is definitely a one time watch .
