Ranchi, the capital city of the Jharkhand state is popularly known for its hilly areas and decent climate. No doubt that the whole state is hilly geographically but the hilly land of Ranchi is gifted with a number of lakes like Hundru waterfall, Patratu waterfall, Kanke Dam lake etc., together with nice educational institutions like XISS, IIM and sports clubs.
There was a time when Ranchi city was unknown for a majority of Indians. This was because its our nature that we used to recognise cities when it is associated with some famous personalities. The credit goes to M.S.Dhoni upto a major extent.
I will say this city is made by nature not by humans. This city has fabulous climate,lakes, rivers, flora & fauna but lacking very much when we considers its infrastructural development and poverty ration. One serious problem the city is facing today is the lack of appropriate housing facility. As the land is uneven, then majority of land comes under tribal land, then soils is not good for agriculture,so the town is very badly lacking in providing housing to all. Chotanagpur tenancy act of 1908 is again prohibiting the general people to purchase tribal land even for commercial purposes. I am not saying that this is bad. No., because this provision must be made for the betterment of tribals who are in real sense the local residents of here.
Anyways, forget these things. You will not feel alone here,no matter you living here alone.
