SRK's Old Villian Look is Back!. Review on Raees

SRK in recent past had made family movies like Dilwale, Fan and Happy New Year which some of his fans like and some wanted old SRK with that villain and cunning look on his face.

So SRK came with his awaited movie Raees. Movie was so much promoted on various mediums like on Bigg Boss show and SRK also traveled from train to promote his movie but altogether it was a success for producers but not for SRK fans as they were expecting it to reach Rs.300-400 crore club.

Now, let us move to plot of the movie

Plot is very exciting as movie has such a great story. A story of boy named Raees who turns from a liquor transportee to a liquor businessman in Gujarat. A state where liquor is banned. Movie shows different ways used by Raees and other liquor transporters to transport liquor to their customers, escaping from police and hiding their stock from police.

In the run to become the owner of the whole market of liquor in Gujarat Raees faces many problems like interruption of ACP Majumdar in his work and frequent warning from him. Raees is also a good person as he solved so many problems of his area and also promise them to give them a colony where their children will get education and food and shelter.

The story have many exciting turns from being a liquor business man to getting into jail to winning election and at last getting encountered.

Story have great dialogues and SRK have perfected the timing of the dialouges and the way he have presented the dialogues is just amazing.

Direction is also very good and use of the main characters is very nicely done by the director.

SRK, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub

and Nawazuddin Siddiqui have nailed the characters and other characters have also played their small roles very effectively. But I personally didn't find Mahira Khans's acting very pleasing . She didn't have that persona or she was just faded by the performance of SRK and Nawazzudin.

Sound track of the movie are awesome, the tune and the back ground music is also very matching to the condition and makes you feel the situation .

Cinematography is also good and camera angles and close up shots are very well taken and lightings are also very suitable with the condition. Songs are very well shot. The locations in the shots are just amazing and natural.

Songs are also very good. Movie have both Item number and a romantic song also.

Although the movie was good but was unable to seek attention of audience. Maybe because of its clash with Kaabil.

But in my opinion movie was good and worth watching in theatre.
