Raees is an upcoming Bollywood film, which is being directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Excel Entertainment, Red Chillies, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The film features superstar Shahrukh Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Farhan Akhtar in male leads. Previously there were talks that, Shah Rukh Khan is set to romance Sonam Kapoor. But now the Pakistani beauty Mahira Khan, will be seen romancing SRKin the movie.
Story/Plot
Raees is a Action thriller Drama film, where story of the film is set in Gujarat. It is related to political background. The film is based on the Prohibition in Gujarat but will largely be shot on asprawling set in Mumbai and not Ahmedabad. There won't be any shooting in Gujarat as such given the bitter aftermath Rahul Dholakia's earlier movie Parzania which was based on 2002communal riots received in the state.

The poster is sure to get people curious. It showsa bespectacled and bearded sitting in front of boxes of alcohol and it read, Baniya ka dimag and miyabhai ki daring. SRK's expression and body language in the poster make it an absolute treat.
Actor/Actress
Handsome Shahrukh Khan will be seen playing the role of a bootlegger, while Farhan Akhtar plays the role of a police officer in the film. This is first time for Shahrukh Khan and Farhan Akhtar to share the screen space. Earlier both had worked together in Don and Don 2, but the difference is that in the two blockbuster had Farhan behind the camera while in Raees he will share screen space with the noted actor. Pakistani actress Mahira Khan plays the lead female role. This will mark the debut of the Pakistani actress in Bollywood.

The teaser starts off at a very interesting note with liquor bottles rolling on the road, reminding a bit of SRK's Devdas. Soon, Shah Rukh's chillingnarration kicks in as he tells his story of rise froma bootlegger to a dreaded don. Shah Rukh Khan'sraw charisma takes the center stage here as his majestic walk with stick in his hand, emerging from the riots is simply breath taking.
