AB holds Raavan. Review on Raavan

Mani Rathnam makes a comeback to the industry after GURU hence the expectations are sky high. Its the same team again with Vikram adding to the strength.Raavan is a story of Beera, Dev n Ragini . Beera is a guy who does what he thinks is right ndoesn'tcare about the law hence Dev the newly appointed officer wants to put an end to this in the process of doing so Dev n other officers mistreat Beera's sister(Priyamani) and become the reason for her death. Beera decides to hit back nkidnapsRagini n from here how the life of these three changes is the story.

The main problem with Raavan is its first half its too slow n you are not quite sure what Mr Rathnam wants to say but the second halfcatches speed thanks to some excellent performances from Abhishek, Priyamani and Ravi kissan. The scene in which Abhishek proposes to Ash is also worth seeing. The fight scene over thebridge is something never seen before in ourIndianmovies the action director certainly deserves some applause .

Coming to the performances Abhishek comes up with the goods as Raavan and isextremelylikeable, Aishwarya is fine and Vikram is passable but the people who come close to AB's performance in this movie are Ravi kissan n Govinda while watching you wish they had more screen space.

All said and done Raavan is a movie with a lot of pot holesMr Rathnamdisappoints. Watch it for AB n some excellent cinematography
