I have been to this hospital two times as it is very nearby to my home. Both the times it was worst experience in this hospital.
First Visit: My wife has got medical abortion, due to lack heart beat of baby. The labour ward doctors was so rude. While discharging, I was shock to see the bill. Night around 12'0 clock my wife got admitted and in the morning at 8'0 discharge. They charged two days rent for bed, two days visiting doctors fees (in fact doctor came only once that too 5 mins in the morning), two days nursing charges, etc., multiplied by two. I went and argued how they can charge 2 days for 8 hrs treatment. Their calculation says, we have admitted at 11:30 and discharged at 8. So 11.30 to 12.00, one day fees and 12:00 to 8 -> one more day fees. After lot of arguments, they agreed to cut down it to one day bill. And one more shocking point is, the medical shop near the hospital is "tightly tied up". They gave a huge list of medicines I need to buy and return it to hospital, as those are used last 8 hrs. I went to medical shop and the medical shop guy calls some nurse in hospital and inquires about the medicines. In fact, my wife is clear that they didn't use those many medicines, they hardly gave one injection. They the head nurse comments are "when you are this much particular about money, don't come to our hospital".
Second Visit: My brother has got appendicitis. Again I had to this hospital as it was nearby. The doctor commented, as we are so lucky to meet him, otherwise, he wouldnt have been to hospital for next two days. After checking the patient, he started abusing me, it is too late to get the patient and that too Sunday. How can I stop the appendicitis not to come on Sunday?. He taken us to one more senior doctor in different floor. The senior doctor acted as if like he is the boss of hospital and it is too much late now and I cannot guarantee the patient, as they are working half day as Sunday. They started asking me to pay the advance amount and book the operation room as OTs are very busy there. I understood they are going me to put blade. I realized and took my brother out and inquired one good hospital and joined him there and got treated well.
Finally from the both the visits I got impression like RMV is big time money suckers. This is my opinion from my own experience.
