First time I saw the banner of Pyaar Impossible was when I took a taxi from my hotel in Kolkata to a conference at Jadavpur University back in January. We, the people, in academia are somewhat geek from fashion guru standard.

Trying to take a break from the political hassle here in Bangkok, I took a chance to see this movie when it came out here in Thailand as a DVD( Watching 2 movies a day will surely improve my Hindi, I hope). This is real funny movie, and I am not ashamed to say that I bought this DVD just for Priyanka. By the way, It makes me look at my own life of how I managed my love life with my studies.

Pyaar. This word is never impossible. You might think it is all about chemistry but horoscopically speaking, chemistry alone is not the answer. Best attribute can be some other things like intelligence. Dino Morea is cute, a model type of guy where you can find at every pool parties or on a cruise trip. However, compatibility or LTR is not based on the good bodies basis.

Half of the story lined on Singapore, but 80% of this film is obviously done in Bangkok, Thailand( Assumption University, Sofitel Bangkok, Tania's school etc etc). Despite out draconian mentality, I am so proud that at least we have some good appearances to show otherwise 800000 Indian would not take a holiday here yearly. We should be proud of our own Asian economic growth, it is good to see the new trend of the image of international professionals that is not limited to USA, UK, Australia. With Singaporean passport, you can do anything just the same as the said mentioned country. In Thailand, the groups of people who sit above the law have to give up their privilege means of acquiring power first( I am saying I like to kick them out, I am a nice and peaceful guy, really).

When I look at this movie structure, I do not look at how much it look real or sensible( other critics have already explained how funny Alisha had excused about the Thai style self-service dining), it is not a Hindi movie element anyway.

I love the way the movie treats the single and divorced mother this way( In reality, it might be very tough for a girl who quitted school at 18), it is not a big deal anymore if the guy turned out to be a jerk.  And of course about how Thai cuisine is represented as a classy dishes.

Back to the story! At first Abhay was not even Alisha's option(Alisha never know who he is) but Alisha is always his first priority. The bad guy is not just the antagonist, he is also the helper. If he did not steal the software from Abhay, how can he meet the old-day sweetheart again?

Meeting bad guy is to test our ability. To handle this kind of people, sometimes, we got to do sometimes worse. It is the cruel truth about what Abhay has done to get trough college of doing some ghost writing stuffs, and imagine if these people who really do not what they are doing go up to higher position, how much they can ruin the corporate?

How he expresses his feeling to alisha by the children's play is lovely.

Being a Geek is horrible. Making oneself unattractive is to shut the door to wider cycle. Look at alisha, she wasn't open to anybody, when Varun asked to call her Alisha, she said " We'll see". However, she is still the one who can choose. At the end, it is so touching that she said Abhay wasn't the loser, but she is.

For me, I really like to be with someone who make me feel like an Asian Prince charming!

It was so funny that Jugal took the Thai flag off anf put the american flag on instead to make it look American! Assumption is not that bad( This is 100% international college, and you pay about 50000 Rupee Per semester). And they won't mind at all if if Alisha like to attend this college. Gayatri  Chakravorty Spivak, the greatest post-colonial theorist once visited here for a lecture.
