I have never been to any of the other PVR theaters. I usually go to IMAX in Phoenix Mall. Since I dint get tickets to a particular movie, I chose PVR for the first time. The ticket cost was very cheap which cost only around Rs. 500. I was happy because it is less than half the rate of IMAX. So, we went to the theatre 40 minutes early and we were supposed to take print out of the ticket on an automatic vending machine.
After input of my tickets' code, I waited for almost 15 minutes for the print to come out but in vain.One of the staff said that the machine was not working properly. So, I gave up trying and stood in the queue for about 15 minutes and voila! my ticket was being dispensed in the machine! So, I collected it and was asked to pay for the 3D glasses at the cafeteria counter. I pad Rs. 25 per glass. I ordered two small popcorns, two small French fries and 3 Pepsi which cost me Rs. 1075! I almost had a heart attack.
But, having no other choice, I waited for the show which at 7.30pm. But we were allowed inside only at 7.40pm. There was lot of confusion In distributing the 3D glasses and with great difficulty we found out seats and settled in. The "3D glasses" dint seem to work. It was watching like a regular movie. Totally unworthy of the money and time.
