Pure it. Review on Pureit Water Purifier

I bought a Pureit from HLL 10 days ago & since I always just keep taking info from Mouthshut, wanted to contribute too. Pros: Cheap, Durable, nice design, easy to use, Assurance of Purety(god knows how far its true). Cons: Taste of water isn`t good(i buy water in cans and pour it into Pureit), and big size(so not very portable).

Ofcourse, to my understanding the Water Taste doesn`t improve much with UV Filter too.

I think since its cheap and promises purity of water, people who cant afford expensive UV Filters can go for it, as the drinking water from cans are not very reliable, especially with families with little kids & with the Summer Season around.

More importantly, keep informed that the Bore water never tastes as good as the water that we buy, so remove this expectation. & the service is pretty bad, I had to wait for 3 days for deliver of the new unit after a confirmed order. So, u can expect what it takes for deliver of spares, but for 1600 Rs, dont expect much.
