It's been a lifesaver!. Review on Prestige Pressure Cooker

I used the smallest Prestige cooker when I lived by myself for a while. My friends and mom would look at it and go: Can you really cook in that? I'll bet you can't cook more than a potato!

But it's served me really well over my months of cooking for myself. I have been able to whip up my dabba - rice etc.. in minutes before rushing off for work.

I have even been able to cook for 2-3 people at a time.

In two years, the safety valve went off just once and the gasket is still in good shape, so's the body.

It's a bit on the expensive side. The smallest is about 500 bucks and the larger ones are more exp. Sure, you'll find cheaper pressure cookers, but this is one rea where you shouldn't compromise on cost and only go for the best brands in the market which I think are Prestige and Hawkins. These will last you 2-3 years and you can always exchange them for newer models.
