Hi guys here is my review on Prestige electric kettle PKSS 1.2L which I have bought in November 2017 from Flipkart and the kettle looks just ok and outer part of the kettle is of stainless steel and the inner part is also of the same steel. The handle is made up of hard plastic and is nice to hold.
The real problem is with its volume, reliability and sticky inner surface.
This kettle doesn't really has 1.2L capacity it is about 1L only. As it can also be used to make tea and coffee, I never do it because while heating milk for coffee it sticks on inner metal surface and is very hard to remove. Same thing happens while making tea. It is only suitable for boiling water.
This kettle has so called 'keep warm' mode which stop the heating as soon as the liquid inside reaches its boiling point. This mode doesn't work everytime sometimes liquid keeps on boiling and comes out of the kettle which is very frustrating. Also it produces a lot of sound when operating.
I didn't expected this kind of quality from a brand like Prestige.
