I booked a single truck delivery with Porter for my relocation from Chennai to Bangalore, expecting a smooth and secure move. Unfortunately, what followed was a nightmare. Despite clearly opting and paying for a single vehicle, Porter used multiple trucks to transport my belongings without any prior notice or consent.
As a result, several items were damaged, and some goods were completely lost. When I raised a complaint, Porter did absolutely nothing to take action against the deliverer who violated the agreed terms.
To make matters worse, one of their own personnel casually admitted that this is standard practice that all consignments are moved this way, regardless of what was promised.
This level of dishonesty and negligence is unacceptable, especially for a company in the logistics business. I will never use Porter again and strongly advise others to be cautious before trusting them with your valuables.
