What is Physics Today?

'Physics Today' is a monthly magazine and is published from Delhi by MTG Learning Media Pvt. Ltd. Though the magazine priced at Rs 20/- is a little costly, it is worth it. It is a must buy for all IIT-JEE/AIEEE/Medical aspirants.

Solved Question Papers

The magazine provides solved question papers of almost all National & State Level Engineering/Medical Entrance Exams of India. Inevitably each issue brings with it 3-5 solved question papers. In addition to this 'Very Similar Practice Papers' are also published. Lately it has started featuring unitwise test series for IIT-JEE 2003 and Practice Papers for MBBS 2003.

Concepts and Theory

Synopsis (of a different topic every month) is provided in the section titled 'High Yield Facts'.'Learn fast' is a feature article that helps a lot in concept development and fine tunes your problem solving skills.

'Physics clinic' is a section that allows you to send your difficult /unsolved problems for diagnosis. The diagnosed problems are published in subsequent issues.

Other Regular Features

It also periodically publishes problems from various Physics Olympiads from the National and International arena.The magazine carries articles on certain general topics also.

Drawback

The magazine has one drawback in particular i.e., it is cluttered with advertisements from various coaching institutes. Also the paper quality is not the greatest. Nevertheless it is a great buy.
