The true test for a soft drink is in the peak of summer. Since we are almost there (at the peak, I mean), I will now prescribe a simple DYI (Do It Yourself) taste test for you.
Location : Home / Friendly neighbourhood grocerywallah / college canteen
Period : Half Hour between 11 AM to 3 PM everyday for 6 days
Needful things : 1 Bottle each of Pepsi, Coke, Thums Up, Fanta, Mirinda, Sprite, 1 Opener, 1 Fridge (at home)
Procedure : Take a 20 min walk in the open, when you are feeling all hot, parched and thirsty and in urgent need of resuscitation, go to the location (as mentioned above), get out the chilled (ideally it should be super chilled) soft drink (a different one everyday) and take a deep, deep swig. After your last soft drink on the 5th day, YOU decide !
I swear it, I have done it with almost every soft drink available in India, PEPSI rules !!!!!
9 days out of 10, there is nothing to beat the refreshing taste of pepsi. It’s best when chilled, it refreshes you & charges you up. You actually feel like you’ve come in out of a desert & been given the cup of life.
Just do this & let me know how you’ll feel.
PS : The advertising only helps to make it better !!! I just love their advertising. (Grow Up tonic, heh heh heh)
