PayTm is a mobile wallet company as well as a e-business portal. The company was founded by Vijay Shekhar Sharma in 2010. Earlier time of the company was not very beneficial but now it is in media now a days. So I decided to review it.
First of all let me tell you I am a active user of PayTm and my review is honest.
The Concept- of the company is very simple load money in your PayTm wallet from your bank by various means such as credit card, debit card and net banking, now use that money to pay near you at shops or any other persons who bears a PayTm account.
Layout and Design - The app layout is really simple, the design is great and easy to browse the app. The color combination is also really cool.
Features and Functions- along with payments the app provides various other features such as mobile recharges, DTH, electricity, metro card recharge etc. The company also provide feature of train, flight, bus, movie ticket bookings and provides various promo codes on the payment. The company even hosts various contests in which you can participate by paying the entry fee and stand a chance to win the prize money.
The app has a feature of scan and pay just scan the QR code of the other PayTm user and make payment. The transactions at PayTm are secured by Versign Certified 128-bit encryption technology which means you credit card details are not shared with the online merchant.
They have also got a great customer support which reply's fast if your query is serious(concerned with money) but may even take more than a week to reply if the problem is not very serious. You can call them but the number is not toll free so 5-10 rupees will be deducted if you call them.
It has a feature of KYC also which will increase your wallet usage limit(which 20000 per month for non KYC customers) to 1 lakh per month. You can transfer your money to to your bank account at 0% transaction fee.
The app is really useful, it fast and convenient and there is problem change also.
Bu the app still need improvement and some features which I think should be present.
