I have had to use paytm because it is the only wallet used widely in India. I do not like this service because it is not refined to the extent where it should receive any appraisal. Sometimes I try to recharge my mobile plan from paytm and 3 out of 5 times the transaction fails successfully. Even when it goes through the recharge notification comes after an hour . Not all the exclusive offers which paytm boasts about are available n their website or app. Their cashback promises are just pure bullshit , upto 200 rupees cashback means 25 rupees cashback has been credited to your account and then a congratulations message pops up.
International money wallets like paypal are better and more thought about and designed in a better way than our indian counterpart.
PayPal payments can be reverted if the other person doesn't provided their services, a full claim and case is opened for that matter. But here with paytm, you will be directed to a illiterate customer care executive who knows nothing about what their even doing working at paytm. You will have to remind them their job and also the procedure.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend paytm for money transfer.
