Paytm is an easy app for mobile balance recharge and online purchases but regarding shop payments and ticket bookings, its one of the worst app.
I had to book a train ticket from IRCTC and I did payment of the same using my paytm account. But it so happened that my balance from paytm got deducted but the ticked wasn't booked. I don'tknow whether I will get back the balance ever or not, and whether I will gat the amount back in my paytm account or get a ticket for the same which will be of no use indeed.
One of my friend had similar issue. He did a recharge of 399/- and didnt receive the balance in his mobile number. Later it took dozens of complaints to get back his money, which he receives as balance in his mobile number.
I fear if same happens to me and I get a train ticket of same amount of some other train. What would that be of my use.
Poor service and very late response. Paytm should have a customer care service where we can talk to real human executives rather than computer operated response voice.
