Paypal's NO RESPONSE ATTITUDE to name change

I have requested name change in my PayPal account on 17Jan18 and attached Passport 1st page copy as a proof to have my name same as in my Bank account.


But till now, I have spoken to their 4 Customer Care Executives and each one has told me that they are putting it on a priority level to have it done soon since I cant link my Bank account given stringent guidelines by the present government.


What is apalling and outrageous that I have neither received any auto-generated or written mail from PayPal citing reason/s for delay in their action. Now I am stuck as I cant link my bank account and cant forward the same to my client.


Utterly disgusting customer service from their end.  Should think twice if you have another option of using any other Payment Gateway.


Finally after my fourth call to PayPal on 25Jan18 and speaking to the customer care executive - Ms Divya, who really took personal interest in my case and escalated the matter to higher authorities, promising a call back within 1 hour to resolve the issue, my NAME CHANGE was done and I received a mail from PayPal confirming the same.


But no apology mail from their end on this.


I wonder what others - who use PayPal have to say on this.
