I watched Pathaan on 29th of January with a bunch of friends, and I enjoyed it a lot.
It is filled with action sequences. However, a few of them were overdone and a little far from reality, but then that's what we go to the movies for! John Abraham was by far the best character and overshadowed everyone else.
Shahrukh khan's return couldn't have been better as the first line that he says is even applicable to his acting career. Patriotism is at a high throughout the movie and appeals to an audience of all ages.
Deepika Padukone has not only embellished the movie with her looks, but she also plays an integral role in the main arc of the story and makes a difference. All in all, her character is well designed.
I would certainly recommend this movie to all ages, but you are recommended to go with a light heart, just to enjoy. Dont excessively excessively search for logic, as you might not find much : )
