PSK Lalbagh-Disgusting. Review on Passport Seva Kendra

After my visit to PSK Lalbagh, Iam convinced that bureaucracy will never go out of this country.I went in at 3.30 pm and came out at 7.pm.(A half a day wasted).To begin with, getting an online appointment is a herculian task.The slots open at 6.00 p.m and close at 6.01 (a message displaying that all slots are booked)

Once you enter, the same set of docs are verified before issuing the token, at counter and again at counter B.(Guess red tapism will never go out of this country!)

After a gruelling four hours, I finally get an ack that says `All docs submitted in Original, verification from issuing authority required'.(Mine is a reissue of a Mumbai Passport).No idea what it means!!!!

Also they have put my case as a pre police verification when all the docs have been submitted in original.

This is the treatment meted out to a honest law abiding, tax paying citizen.
