Not exactly sure what was on David Dhawan's mind. I agree that it is very common for bollywood movies to have the same story line as a hollywood movie, but atleast make an honest effort to also copy the class and respect that the parent movie Hitch carries with itself. Salman was better of the two heroes. Govinda was beyond despicable in this movie. His so called comedy did not even feel like comedy, it was irritating to the core. Lara Dutta did ok and was admirable in her role.
Coming to Katrina Kaif..not exactly sure what prompted her to even take up the offer to act in this movie and that too opposite Govinda. I am sure she must be embaressed at making the choice to do this movie if she is intelligent enough to realize that this movie reduces her credibility in being able to decide which movies to act in that would shape her career in a positive way.
My advice; STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVIE: dont even think of watching it even at home.
