I am using Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ28 camera since last 2 years for my occasional photography and I have to say it is a great camera.
First of all it's not a DSLR, it is a semi DSLR with limited amount of features and non changeable lens.
It comes with 18x zoom which is truly amazing.
I am not a professional photographer still I am able to take good DSLR quality pics by just using auto mode on this camera. It is so simple to use and also it is not that much bulky.
But it's battery only lasts for about 100 shots, its better to buy an extra battery. The strap which came with the camera is of average quality. Also, you cannot attach more lenses to it like other DSLRs. Rest all is fine. And it is a decent budget camera for begginers.
