Win ce, pocket pc for me. Review on Palm Vs. Windows CE

Sure, this debate rages on - palm, psion, pocketpc, x, y, z or whatever.

at this point in time, imho, I consider only two platforms worth'considering' - palm and windows ce. the question'what platform?' could be probably answered by posing some of these questions.

1. purchase price. advantage palm

2. expandability. advantage win ce

3. good looks(screen / colors, etc.). advantage win ce

4. versatility of programs. advantage win ce

5. stability of os. advantage palm

6. free software available. advantage win ce

7. desktop interface. advantage both

8. proprietary os. advantage neither

9. hardware peripherals. advantage win ce

10. multimedia capabilities. advantage win ce

11. nice plus features. advantage win ce

12. using the entire screen for input. advantage win ce.

whooops, there are a lot more out there - I guess this list should be longer.

I own a pocket pc, and am very very happy with it - have seen / reviewed / considered lots of other devices, but finally bought it. am using it. am overusing it. am very happy.
