The movie is based on an emperor Alaudin Khilji from Delhi who wants hold on a beautiful lady Padmavati, who happens to be the wife of a powerful king Maharawal Ratan Singh from Mewar. Both Singh and Padmavati are truely loved in the movie, and even in the story. And Alaudin Khilji puts forward a War against the the Mewar. And in return, Padmaavati also fights being a Rajput. And the story ends in the name of love.
The cast performance is very praiseworthy.
Ranveer Singh's performance is the best amongst all, and Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone also have done their jobs really well.
So the movie is worth watching. And is equally worthy of the name even agter the controversies.
