I started using Orange about a year back with my Alcatel handset. Overall excellent service with the ability to login to my Yahoo account. My friends from all over the world can SMS me from ICQ too.....
Though the network is congested in the evenings, a couple of retries gets the connection.
Wish they could bring down the SMS rates for pre-paid Orange Just-talk too.
On a recent trip, I was roaming with Orange and the billing seemed quite reasonable. Orange proved very handy for staying in touch then !
On the other hand, I also had a BPL connection which was not so clear in terms of reception in closed areas. Moreover, my friends cannot SMS me from ICQ on BPL.
Just need to see how Reliance battles when in full operation. If Orange does meet the rates, I would surely stick to it.
