Its been 2 months that I have been using Onida's 1.5 ton Split AC and my experience has not been good. The cooling power of this AC is not so good considering its 1.5 ton AC and is being operated in a room of dimension 14X12 feet.
When I told the dealer from where I purchased this AC he told me that 1.5 ton would be enough to cool the room of such dimension but it takes too much time to cool the entire room. When I come from outdoors, I have to stand in front of the AC to feel the cool air because its cooling is too slow.
The only good thing is it produces negligible sound. You can enjoy your TV or music very pleasantly as this doesn't produce that much sound.
Considering the amount of 32, 000/- I paid for this AC, I would say it wasn't a good deal.
The 2 stars I gave are only because of the reason that I liked it for not being loud like other ACs like window ACs which are loud. But however the sound factor cant overcome the cooling factor.
You may want to consider other options before buying this model.
