1+ 9Pro 5G, A phone with many problems. Review on OnePlus 9 Pro 5G

I bought this phone in July 2021. After having used this phone for 2 months , I found many problems with this phone.

1. Sensor on screen works in-effeciently. In middle of call or at the time of receving call, the moment phone is kept on ear, it goes into mute mode, as cheeks touches the touch, mute is activated, this happens at least half of calls. I contacted service center via email, i was told that it must be a hardware issue.

2. Phone on charging has over heating issue. You can actually figure out the rise of temperature of device.

3. Phone has no auto call recorder, Instead, I use ACR application for the same. However call recording button given by one plus one need to press everytime on call to start and stop call recording, intrestingly, if you press to start call recording button given by one plus it makes a sound "call recording starts" and the person on call can hear this on other side. Poorly desgined option.

4. Phone does hang like a normal android phones, before making purchase i took feedback from an existing user , I was told that I was given feedback that it doesn't hang. But my experience says that It hangs like any other android phone.

5. Battery life is not good, I have to charge twice a day atleast. Battery drains out very fast. Not expected of phone of this configuration.

6. Cover that comes with phone has a very poor quality, the silicon color is water blue, it catches stains very fast, even if you wash, or use chemical to clean, stains doesn't go away. Stains are absorbed in cover color. It's gives a v bad look. I have discarded after a week of use. You all will be surprised to know that I had used previous phone cover for 2 yrs.

7. One plus has focussed more on style and high processing and marketed very well. But this phone is not at all worth its cost. Max cost should have been under 40K.

I regret buying this phone at 70K, I should have bought apple instead. I regularly travel due to mywork, couldn't even got an oppurtunity to go to service center to complain. But majority of reviewsfound on internet suggests that other users too facing one of the other issues.

One Plus, should seriously consider calling back this model and compensating the users.

I won't recommend buying this phone. Instead go for for apple or samsung.
