Swear by it. Review on Old Monk

This is my second decade with Old Monk and it is quite easily one of the best rums in the worlds. I have tried several other brands like Bacardi (various), Captain Morgan, Myer's, Sea horse (for Indian defense only), Old Castle, and many others, but find a certain comfort and taste with Old Monk that is missing with the others. There is a supposedly better quality Old Monk called the Old Monk Gold Reserve which is more expensive, but personally I prefer the dark Old Monk anytime. I have introduced Old Monk to UK visitors (rum drinkers) to my office and every one of them has not just liked it but has carried back a bottle.

It's bottle itself is a classic – and has been cast in many bollywood movies. After quenching many a patron’s thirst with it's initial contents, it has found place in their homes as simple but elegant way to grow money plants - talk about retention in consumers mind!

Of late there have been concerns with short supply and spurious stuff for old monk regulars. I hope the makers of Old Monk are listening and take action!
