They confirmed a booking for my mother(senior lady), and driver called just few minutes before to refuse. Call-center assigned another cab, which came and picked her up, but asked her to get down just a little down the road. Reason: "My GPS system stopped working, you need to pay Rs 1000 for journey"(expected cost is Rs 400)! Imagine the situation for my mother!
Essentially driver has no motivation to take you as their rates are cheap. As Hindi saying goes, "mehenga roye ek baar, sasta roye baar baar". Don't let the cheap rates fool-you, you would repent:). Calling call-center is useless, you would lose your temper and peace-of-mind.
