I took an Ola from Siddhi Vinayak, Mumbai to Gatway of India, Mumbai. Shockingly, Ola GPS was showing route via Elephanta Island. The route was about 50 kms longer than the straight route. I insisted driver to take the straight route like all were taking and he agreed. Driver was also surprised by the route the OLA app was showing.
There was a traffic jam but we reached Gateway of India eventually with some delay. To cut the long story short, the bill in the end was very high, Ola call center was not reachable, drive argued and took the money and left then I had to call the Ola help desk to explain the situation and get the refund of excess amount.
