By just looking at the promotional clips on tv , I told myself this is but a mish mash of Bridget Jones' Diaries heavily desified. Earlier sridevi attempting to play a journalist in mediocre mr dia was an attempt to bank heavily on her anatomy , throwing in the usual corrupt politicians' caricatures which proved to be a commercial success as nothing sells like in India. Be it battle of bulges or women playing the central role Indian film industry proves consistently it lacks originality. Hollywood is the trend setter in all genres . And bollykollywood blindly copies Hollywood throwing in too many kitschy song & dance routines making everything highly kitschy & mediocre.
