I bought a N70, in the month of Aug, and the phone didnt switch on, when checked with Nokia care, he asked for a chrges to be paid, when I refused to pay coz this is under warrenty, first he asked for Rs 200/-, he has cooly written in the order sheet as liquid damage, whcih is not covered under warrenty and increased the amount to Rs 1500/-.
the date of delivery is written as 4 feb 2008, so I have to wait for 1 yr and 1 month for the phone to be delivered, and he has written in the order sheet as if I have said there is a liquid damage.
Nokia clearly says they can only take the service centers words and doesnt want to discuss with the customer.
I have sent a notice to nokia and will be filing in consumer forum by the end of this month.
Since 4th Jan 2007, My mobile is lieing with the nokia care.
Anyway they have deliberatly added this caluse in the warrenty to get away when they get into prob. My order number is 002434038/070104/40. Regards
