I came across this phone in an ad in july 2007. In less than 24 hours it was in my hand. I was having an E61. I had to justify myself to a good extent to go for this. Finally I did.
And I have no regrets.
Firstly that sickening joy stick is out in this model. This model has a full featured front interface. It can be operated with 1 hand while driving or with 2 hands like a laptop. Sound quality is very good. Above all I use it as a real business phone. Mail, Messenger, WWW, Active Notes - all have been stretched to the edge of the wall and all of them held very well.
A pdf and doc/xls reader available serves the purpose. Nokia could have added a document/spreadsheet editor. It would have helped to create documents as we move.
mp3 ringtones are possible. you can make your own ringtone from your fav song or music. The camera(still and video) is exemplary. The 3.2 MP camera serves a lot. The video recorded is dvd quality and I do not carry any camera or camcorder to most of the places.
Battery charge lasts as like any nokia phone. But if internet connection is on, it drains out fast.
Couple of drawbacks, one serious and 1 not so much.
Bluetooth stopped working for no reason after about 8 months of use.
The qwerty keyboard is slightly raised and it makes an impression on the screen. This impression is permanent!
Overall its a great machine.
