This is a brief review, more to complement the reviews already in place. My usage is primarily from a business perspective and the features and form factor are excellent.

*- Shape and Size

  • Screen resolution and font

  • Keyboard feel

  • features as part of the O/S

  • loudspeaker

  • search facility

There are no important dislike features. Does not have a radio, which may turn off some users. While it is quite fast(as compared to the Nokia 3230 I had) but would be in the same league as the N70 and its variants. The joystick actually is quite good. The sound is nothing phenomenal but quite functional.

I have upgraded the firmware to the latest(V06.41.3.0 dated 24-10-2006). You can do this yourself with an internet connection and the supplied USB cable. There have been a few hiccups.

During some calls, the loudspeaker switches on when you accept the call. After the call(that does not get interrupted) you will need to restart the phone, unless if it happens on its own.

Access to some other applications also freezes the phone momentarily.

Hope this helps.
