I got a nokia 6500 slide phone, before this I have been playing around with my good old friends nokia 3330, lg chocolate, lg viewty, nokia 2300.
*Plus points of 6500 slide:*
Good sound compared to all the rest.
Good pictures from the 3.1 mp camera.
Good 3G speed (I use it in UK... )
Nice Screen (smaller compared to all latest mobiles).
A TV-out cable which allows you to play music, see pictures n videos on your tv.
Supports a 4GB micro-SD card.
Decent looks(its a copy of LG/Samsung old models: https://gsmarena.com)
Useful Nokia PC suite can be used to backup and synchronise phone data to your pc.
*Bad points are:*
Bad design for in-built micro-SD slot, which makes the mobile lose all its image and ring tone settings because of the loose metallic back-cover. However this can be fixed by raising the small metallic part at the back on the right side of the camera.
Camera lacks a proper cover.
Sometimes the buttons are slow to react (specially while unlocking the mobile keypad.)
No USB charging, have to rely on Nokia charger adapter only.
