Nice Phone in the catagory of Touchphones. Review on Nokia 5233

I bought this phone in January 2010. My preference was a touchscreen phone with GPRS, WAP and good music player. Now it’s almost been 10 months using this phone. So I would like to give a complete review of this product.

Features or good part of the Nokia 5233:

1. Fast interface

2. Multiple application, multi tasking support

3. Social networking tools like Facebook, Fi5 etc

4. Lock key given on sidebar for locking the screen

5. Not very heavy

6. Good music player

7. Built-in OVI store for downloading applications, music, wallpapers etc

8. Tools like dictionary, converter

9. 2.0 MP Camera gives a good quality pictures. Support of uploading directly to SNS

10. Good sound quality. Earlier I was having Nokia N73. Its sound quality was the worst.

Bad part of Nokia 5233

1. If you are listening to music then battery drains very fast

2. Video Camera- Video recording takes a lot of memory space. If you make a video of 20 sec, the size shall be approximately 10-12 MB. So, after some time it is better to transfer all the videos to the PC

3. No PC interface cable is provided with this phone. That has to be purchased separately.

4. Sometimes during change of orientation hanging problem is there.

Overall I see it a worth-buying phone. Value for money.

I bought it for Rs. 7400 and I found that it is worth it.
