Its a 60:40 for the set (60 good / 40 bad). Review on Nokia 3500C

I bought the Nokia3500C in March'2008 @ 5500 Rs. Till then I am using for more than 2yrs 6months. The battery which Nokia supplied with it(BL12C) was good initially but gradually its back up detoriated & it expanded dangerously within the set such that I coulnd't held back cover anymore in the set. So I replaced it with a local battery(not nokia) from a Kolkata market which is giving excellent backup now for last 6 months.The stainless steel border also came off within 1 year, couldn't refix it even with QuickFix adhesive.Though Nokia says the camera is 2MP but it gives images just slightly better than VGA camera. Morever the groove for inserting headfone also stopped working within 1 year, which I anyway didnt use much since I rarely listen to radio/FM.It hanged only twice in 2.6 yrs, that too water & sweat getting inside. As usual I repaired it with Nokia Care who mercilessly repair it without bothering about backup of contacts/ sms. But it also has many good points like handy design, doesnt matter if it fells from hand, easy n user friendly operation, availability of all features like FM, GPRS/ Net, good Memory card support of 2GB, good fone memory, nice black look, bluetooth, mms, all related mobile features wihtin 5K. overall I rate it 60:40 and a good value for money
