Nightmarish. Review on Nirulas, GTB Nagar, Delhi

The Nirula's Restaurant is a really unique restaurant.They have been in business for quite some time now.But what suprised me is how they managed to run so long.They dont abide by the proper hygiene standards in the kitchen.Word has it that they were almost closed down by the health dept. last year.There were several cases of customers finding leaches in their burgers and cockroaches replacing the tomatos in theirs pizzas.There was a lot of confusion and was hushed up after a lot of bribing.

The toilets in the restaurant are also very dirty.First of all they have Indian style pans.Secondly,there ar no bathtubs.Thirdly,the sinks ar so dirty it's hard to differentiate them from the commodes.It seemed to me that a foreigner unsure of how to use the indian pans used the sinks.

The food there is really awful.They taste like they had been prepared when the restaurant was first launched.I once went inside the kitchen with my cam phone and recorded the way they prepared the food.You won't believe what I saw.One cook was jerking off on the food.One was on drugs and he puked on the raita.The rest were treating the place like their personal toilet.Some people were shaving there-their beard,armpits and even their private sections.If you dont believe me I can show you the clip.The staff there was also very rude.They didnt let me enter the restaurant without my clothes.I never returned to that restaurant ever again.
