One of the most frustrating parts of the trip was how I felt completely misled by the travel agent. The itinerary we were provided promised visits to key tourist spots within the Sunderban Tiger Reserve, including opportunities to view wildlife and explore the protected areas. However, upon arrival, it quickly became apparent that none of these are included. We had given our IDs 2 months before for the forest permissions but these cheaters never bothered to take those necessary permissions. We were kept in dark.
I'm not new to Sunderban Safari , these bunch of liars tried to misled us saying only 130 boats were given permissions, the reality is they purposely didn't apply for to loot money from us. We had few members who did come from outside Bengal and were totally frustrated in the entire trip. No visit to any creeks and canals of Sunderban. No visit to any watchtowers inside the tiger reserve areas. They purposely didn't take any forest permission whereas we did pay the entire amount before the trip.
Inadequate Boat Size:
One of the practical issues was the boat size, which was shockingly inadequate for the number of people in our group. The boat was cramped, and there was barely enough space for everyone to sit comfortably. This was again a cheating from the travel agent what was promised and what was given to us.
Overall Experience:
The Sunderbans are undoubtedly a stunning destination, but if you’re considering a trip here, be cautious about the tour operators you choose. Never go with NatureWings they are white liars and cheaters.
Next steps - I've escalated this to the West Bengal government tourism level. So that NatureWings gets completely blacklisted. I don't want other genuine tourists to suffer the same way.
