Naayak, one of the first films to release in 2013 in the telugu film industry was quite a treat. It had what movie goers these days want- comedy, action, romance and lots of masala. The story is a good one, about Cherry a simple guy working as a software engineer and wooing his girlfriend Madhu (Kajal Agarwal). his uncle Jalebi (Brahmanandam) accompanies him on his various encounters. This takes place in Hyderabad. In Calcutta Siddharth is staying with his brother and sister. He is in love with Nandini (Amala Paul). The action and twists fill the spaces in between.

Brahmanandam has given an excellent performance. Along with Charan, the two are unstoppable. Kajal Agarwal looks gorgeous and acts superbly. Amala Paul has also done a splendid job and looks lovely. Ram Charan is undoubtedly the showstopper. He dances fantastically in the songs, looks charming and handsome and delivers his best performance to date. The perfect heir to Chiranjeevi's legacy- undoubtedly.

The stunning Magadheera couple Ram Charan and Kajal Agarwal have done it again. Their on-screen chemistry is mind-blowing. Amala Paul and Ram Charan also make a cute couple. Thaman's music is awesome- as always. The tunes, the occasional Hindi lyrics- the same winning combination. My favorites are Nellorae and Oka Choopukae, but the others are pretty rocking too.........

The message of social change is good and the film moves at a considerably good pace. A good few hours spent. Definitely worth a go.
