My story is an year old. Somehow did not get the time/patience to write the review.
I had ordered a canon point and shoot camera on Naaptol. The cost was around Rs 13500.0(don't remember now exactly). Naaptol gave the best price compared to all other sites. So without thinking much I ordered it. Only after placing the order it occurred to me that I should have checked the review in mouthshut!
Initially I freaked out look at the bad reviews. But I calmed myself down thinking that this was a famous site and will not cheat people. As soon as I placed my order the status showed'ready for dispatch'! And this status stayed that way for a week! I got worried and called customer care. They said delay was due to some holiday season and transport strike and such crap!
Even after multiple calls after many days nothing happened. **The customer care folks just don't have any idea what the actual status of the order is, they just give some useless random stories/reasons to customers.
Eventually I **mailed the CEO** who mail id is given in their site(don't remember where). **Finally they refunded my money after 1 month** saying that the product is out of stock and their site was not properly updated!(One month after placing my order).
They are not a fraud or cheaters, they are basically a very un-organized online shopping setup.
Giving them 1 rating for at least returning my money back.
