I have been a member of My Points for over 4 years. I save my points all year and around the first of December I cash them out for the gift certificates offered from various places like JC Penny, Macy's, Target, Bloomingdale’s, several restaurants, and even gasoline. Home Depot and Ace Hardware are too! There are several to choose from.

The system is very easy to use. You sign up (all members of the family can sign up so long as they are 18 or older), they send you emails almost daily and you just visit the site from the email. You get either 5 points or 10 points depending on the advertiser. Once at the site you can choose to join or not. You still get the base points just for visiting (5 or 10.) Sometimes in the email there is a ''yes'' link and a ''no'' link, where you get credit for clicking on both.

You can take surveys when available and get points for those as well. However out of all honesty there are not many surveys available.

You can shop from the various companies that My Points has available and earn points just for shopping. You can earn 2 points for every dollar spends. Sometimes they do offer double your points, this being certain times of the year. For instance, back to school, kick off for the summer, Christmas time, Mothers Day, etc. Their web site is secured. I have used the shopping service several times at Wal-Mart, Fingerhut and JC Penny. For me all monies have been credited.

You can view the list of rewards in two ways: by point total or partner site, meaning stores. Although the more points you get the more you can earn.

On the home page you will find featured sites to join giving you the points allotted per feature.

Shopping, touring web sites, and taking surveys (mentioned above). There is a link on the home page that allows you the daily visit of 10 points.

Earn more points by referring others. As usual the referral section is where to make the most money. BUT NO SPAMMING ALLOWED!

They have a section for member's benefits, with more exclusive offers, MasterCard, travel, etc.

Their customer service is prompt and really nice. I have had no problems with them. But that is not to say it won't.

When I cash out once a year I use those points to get gift certificates from JC Penny, Home Depot or Ace. I usually get the certificates in increments of 10.00 each. I know that they work because the members of my family tell me so. This is a way that really helps out during the holidays. Sometimes I cash out a few points through out the year. For instance, I needed a new watch and I was able to use some of my points to get one. I also got one of the mini vac's that you see a lot of on the net today. It actually works, which I was surprised.

There is a refresh key available that allows the different family members to cash out their points, or check their points. However in the emails that come they always post how many points you have available.

There is fact section as well as a most frequently asked questions section. These areas are very helpful as with any site that you are thinking of joining. I do suggest that you read up on all sites and check them out before joining. There are always rules and regulations for the sites. And the information is always useful.

My Points has been around a while now and I certainly hope that they stay. I really like this program and it is one of the few that does actually pay up. I highly recommend them to everyone. But, check them out for yourself.

If you are interested in joining email me please, and I will send you my member id. Thanks for reading.

I hope this has helped in some kind of way.

God Bless!
