Costs
Always advisable to book in advance.I booked thru Antilog Vacations which is the cheapest for Kerala(being the official travel provider fr most hotels in kerala).It costed me 8000 Rs for a 3 day Munnar Trip for 2 ppl.All Inclusive of brkfst)Thomas Cook is good also, if u r looking for expensive nd exquisite packages.
If u try to book by yourself, it wud cost 1.5 times Folks, so trust these people

Never trust a Local Kerala Agent.They are highly fraudeulent & don’t give services .I can tell frm my frens experiences
*Season& Conveyance*
All seasons except rain.The route from Kochi to Munnar is via *Muttupazha-Kothamangalam-Adimali.* The journey takes around **3.5 – 4 hours**.

Munnar, like the rest of Kerala is a treat for **non-vegetarians**, lots of options available. Vegetarians however have fewer options.

Hindi is not all that popular. I don’t know head or tail of Malayalam.
The local cuisine uses ***coconut oil*** for everything.
Also, *== **red rice**==* is common here. It may not be palatable to everyone.
Also, **beef **and **pork **are commonly eaten here, which everyone may not enjoy.
