History of Munnar
Main community lived ago in munnar is Muthuvan Tribal community. In 1870 British resident of Travancore kingdom John Munro visited this place and he selected this place as his summer vacation camp. He found the possibilities of crop cultivation in Munnar.
You cannot reach munnar by train directly. You can getdown railway station in ernakulam north or south. from there you can get KSRTC bus and reach munnar directly.
