Mudumalai is a wildlife sanctuary attached to Bandipur; It is a very good place to spend your weekends.
There are many resorts and farm houses available at masinagudi and there is one farm house in the crucial elephant habitat. It is named Jungle Home.
I had booked the cottage Jungle home for 2 days.
I own a software company in Bangalore. There are 15 People working for my company.
I had planned to take all my employees to Jungle home.
We reached Jungle home on Friday evening. On the way to Jungle home we spotted a gang of Elephants about 10 in the group. there was a tiny elephant which was hardly 2 feet tall. The tiny elephant was too cute.
Out stay at Jungle home was very comfortable. We had taken the 2 bed room cottage and a family room. And I could accommodate all my Employees. Jungle home is very economical because we were not charged for extra beds and extra people. We could accommodate 10 people in the cottage and we were charged only 1200.
We were also served unlimited food for all the 3 meals at 350 rs per person.
We had booked the cottage only for 2 days but since all my employees enjoyed the stay at jungle home a lot we extended our stay by 2 more days.
On the 3rd day we visited Ooy. Ooty is just 40 Km from jungle home and on the way to Ooty we spotted India Guars, Langoors and a few wild dogs. We were told wild dogs are dangerous animals and rare to spot then crossing roads.
I wanted to Book jungle home for the next week end so that I can take my 5 yesr old daughter and wife there and enjoy with them.
But the cottage was already booked. I plan to take my daughter to Jungle home some time in the month of December. I don’t want to look around for other resorts because at Jungle home we get home made food. My daughter is allergic to hotel food.
At jungle home we can find Turkeys, Variety of Pigeons, Love birds, Goose, Flying Duck, Cocktails, and few other birds. Peacocks keep visiting the Ginger farm in the Jungle home campus.
you can have a mild smell og ginger in the cool air near jungle home.
It is a best place to relax with family or a a adventurus trip with friends.
I am sure it will be liked by kids.
