For the people in India not used to watching people dancing in their bikinis and shorts, MTV presents a show called,The MTV Grind.
Majority of the show is centered and shot around private beaches and in hotel swimming pools. Showcasing people enjoying the sun, sand and water, which though is a speciality for the people of the west.Other times, it is a disco party going around.
Since the TeleVision is a powerful media, the Grind has become a hit in India where flesh and bare bodies are hard to see.
The concept otherwise is bare bodies doing funny stuffs, personally I feel watching MTV Grind is a waste of viewing time, it would be better
to watch Discovery or National Geographic.
One better side of this program is that it allows for small time artistes to show case their talents.
Generally the music played is okay, mainly consisting of rap and disco while rock and metal are hardly played.
Understandably the show is a MTV setup to garner TeleVision ratings from its rival music channels, but viewer discretion is recommended.
