I am surprised to receive the bills. First month they charged for 947 (500 Security Desposit) + 400 (Internet Charge) + 49 Taxes charges.
Second month they are charging 1113.00 (500 Security Deposit) + 400 (Internet Charge) + Phone Call Charges + Taxe.
I think the MTNL must mentioned about the security deposits while showing plans. I am not sure how much they will be charging as a security deposit. In fact when I visited their Sanchar Haat they just told about the Unlimited Internet in just 299 with Upfront payment of 588/-. But the things got critical when I receive monthly bill of approx 1000.
Internet is not stable and it has surprising slow speed. Unable to work with some applications like gotomeeting, logmein, gotomypc which register IP Address because of disconnection after everything 1-2 mins.
Also sometime it shows an error and internet stops. The LAN lights shows connected but the tx receive shows Idle after restart it works fine.
Their customer care service is non of use since they are unable to reply even about the no. need to dial to access Internet. Even when I was confident about the no. they made me wrong saying there is not any no. However, I manually asked my friend and get it working.
One word I would like to say about the MTNL is that they have good technology but they do not have good Personnel.
