I have been using firefox for the last 4 years, and that is after I had a not so good experience with chrome and internet explorer. I used IE6 back then and I don't need to mention what is wrong with it, and I tried using chrome for some while but I had a lot of problems with it, a number of annoying bugs made it very difficult to use, issues that I still face today with chrome.
I never quite felt at ease using chrome. But my experience with firefox has been very good. No annoying bugs, smooth functionality, a lot of useful add ons, and a simple layout. One complaint you can have with firefox is that it can sometimes take a while to load, or will hang when started.
And it becomes a bit slow after being used for a longer number of hours. But I am happy with it and it is the always the first browser I download on any machine I use.
